Share God Stories
The story of what God has done in and around your life through CU Church in the last five years
During a meeting people started sharing stories about all the things that they had seen God do in the last five years through CU Church. It was such an encouragement to hear these things and remember that HE IS FAITHFUL. As we look towards September 17, 2022, the five year anniversary of CU Church, we are looking to capture these stories and turn them into a book that will allow us to look at what GOD HAS DONE.

Email your story to stories@cuchurch.com. Please try to limit yourself to 1000 words! If you want to include a photo please attach it to the email.

Story Examples
I had prayed and wondered if my adult daughter would ever be baptized. She made the decision and on April 11, 2021, as a surprise my daughter walked out as others had been baptized and she was baptized herself.
Seeing the diversity of Thursday Night meals. Not just racial diversity, but economic diversity. People were just accepting and loving everyone.
I was not a Christian. I was helping others in recovery. I made some bad choices. Nobody wanted to talk to me about it without giving their opinion. I met with CU Church people and was just loved and accepted. I sat in the third row and the last seat and Jason was preaching about "What did you mess up?"
Then later at the Wednesday morning bible study in a discussion and I realized I was a fisherman, as a social worker, who couldn't navigate the storm. Jason and Matt were telling me that Jesus was in the boat with me I just had to turn to him.
